Female-fronted Toronto pop rock band, Crystalyne has come a long way since their debut release “Navigate” (June 2012) in sharing stages with the likes of Marianas Trench, Carly Rae Jepsen, Walk Off The Earth, and Down With Webster, just to name a few. Performing alongside such accomplished acts had drove Crystalyne to record their most memorable release to date.
Having released their highly praised sophomore EP “The Remedy” just late last year, the band hit a whole new spectrum of fans, and were listed as one of AlternativePress’s ‘100 Bands You Need To Know’ for 2014. The latest single from the band, “Punks Don’t Dance” has received radio attention from various outlets including being 99% ‘pumped’ on 99.9 Virgin Radio Toronto’s ‘Pump It or Dump It’, all in addition to the video being played on MUCH.
As an independent band, Crystalyne has championed the competitive climate that is today’s music industry and maintained an exceptional work ethic to establish a devoted grassroots fan base. To that effect, Crystalyne has passed over 750k views on their Youtube channel and have found their videos featured on various international media outlets such as MuchMusic.com, RyanSeacrest.com, AlternativePress. Most recently, Crystalyne competed in Bell Media’s RadioStar competition and took home the national grand prize with their upcoming single “6 in the Morning”.
